The challenge
HAVEN needed a public site that feels calm and trustworthy, while making crisis help and next steps obvious, without putting survivors at risk through confusing navigation or slow mobile experiences.
About the client
HAVEN Mid-South Refuge provides specialised family safety services in Mid-South Island, with inclusive, whānau-centred advocacy so every home can be a sanctuary.
What we did
We built a WordPress site with clear hierarchy, accessible typography and colour, and safety-first actions (crisis line, quick exit, referrals). Design by Rosewill Design; SqualaDesign handled development, SEO, hosting and ongoing maintenance.
Outcome
A modern Mid-South Island refuge site that supports people looking for healing, advocacy and empowerment, and is easy to use on phone and desktop.
